Freshers!

Welcome to Southampton and New Community!

You’ve chosen a great place to study, and spend some of the best years of your life. There are tons of things to do around the city, so buy a map and take some time to explore!

Students are a massive part of New Community, and we want you to feel really welcome here, but we also realise that such a large church can be very overwhelming! We have an excellent student team (made up of mostly 2nd and 3rd year students) who would love to meet you, and introduce you to others at New Community. Come and find us at our meetings in Central Hall.

You will probably be inundated with flyers when you start university, so we’ve tried to create a welcome pack full of useful information that you need to help you settle in easily. You can pick one up from one of the students wearing a light blue polo shirt at any of our meetings at Central Hall.

Each week our student worker sends out emails updating student on the different events during the week. Fill out a contact card or email to receive these.

If you haven't discovered the joys of FACEBOOK yet, then you will soon become well emersed into its world.  We would love you to join the 'Community Church Students' group.  We use it regularly to keep incontact with you, and let you know what events are going on throughout the year.
